alternate: snow on our balcony.

Well, it's the morning after my 1,500th blip and I'm so thankful and appreciate of all the wonderful comments yesterday - you guys are the best! I'm also happy waking up to the first official snowfall of the season here in the Midwest! It's not even noon yet but I'm posting now since any picture I would take today would [of course] be of the new snow. We are expecting more and more snow over the weekend.

I'm having a relaxing morning of cleaning and reading (and staying warm!) while enjoying this view outside my window. I don't feel a need to go out in it just yet. I'd like to leave it untouched for a little bit longer. :)
