Longish footnote: This horribly unattractive Philips TV of ours refuses to expire. Much as I would like a modern replacement with HD, 3D, WebTV and whatever else new TVs incorporate, I cannot bring myself to discard a piece of electronics just because "it's not the latest". I hate the damn thing but can't throw it away.
