Pretty good day all in all. Shopping done early (after sitting up watching the cricket last night); lazy breakfast; trip into town, well Stockbridge, to visit Galeries Mirages (and certainly not coming away empty handed) and Mellis (equally un-empty handed); home to clear the path and drive; walk down to Portobello (where I saw my first ever Turnstone, what a gorgeous wee bird!); cheese and wine and beer back in the warmth of home.
