A Dog's Dinner

Muktuk and Mangoes

As tomorrow is the most important day of the year for Bella, she spent the afternoon with us while lots of secret things were being prepared at home.

So we've been painting, drawing and discovering that eskimos eat whale skin or muktuk.. This nugget of information was discovered as part of her new interest in whales.

Now all her food is described as muktuk.

So we had:
fried muktuk - crisps.
baked muktuk - biscuits
and standard muktuk - beans

A banana is still a banana.

Her mum got a bit confused - she thought eskimos ate 'mock duck' - which is what they're having for dinner.

Bella has asked me for a lemon, a lime and a mango for her birthday.

Now where am I going to get mango at this time of the year?

Is she taking the Mickey?
