Sigtuna

Me and a friend took a trip out to a town called Sigtuna. It was really nice, the town used to be the capital of Sweden apparently (a very very long time ago...).
There were lots of nice little Swedish shops. It looked like it would be packed with tourists in the Summer but it's pretty deserted now.

It sits on this huge lake (Does it count as a lake if it's actually connected to the sea? The actual sea is like 70km away, so it's not salt water, but it's not totally inclosed. Hmmm...) which was totally frozen, although the only ones brave enough to walk on it were the ducks. But I'm sure later on everyone will be out casually strolling about on the ice.

Then we found a really nice little café and had a cup of hot chocolate because all our limbs were about to fall off from frostbite.

Then I came home, cooked dinner in advance, then baked some amazing almond cake/biscuit things for C's work colleagues.
But we did get to have one each (that's how I know they were amazing).
