Friday 10 December 2010: 3 cheers for the sun
There has been a bit of a thaw but the pavements are still treacherous and I slithered from the car to the promenade with great difficulty. The lone dog walker was huddled against the cold but his little dog kept running into the sea! It was good to watch the sun rise again - and it seems to be staying a while.
Today would have been my Dad's 96th birthday - I still miss him and think about him every day.
It's Friday and the weekend - enjoy. I woke with raging toothache so a visit to the dentist is on the agenda later this morning. Wish me luck.
