Was It Really So Long Ago

Victoria Street

A meeting in London followed by a few beers. Victoria Street leading to the Palace of Westminster and Parliament Square was busy with police, but closed to traffic.

It was all kicking off about a quarter of a mile along the road. Not surprisingly, Westminster tube station was closed as we slipped quietly past the riots under the ground.

This picture is straight from the camera unadulterated, taken outside the Albert pub. I can recommend the Christmas Cheer. A fine pint and you can never have too much of it can you?
