Carlisle Castle

All the snow has gone!
A day for doing essential shopping in Carlisle...
Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner in Carlisle Castle about 450 years ago...
I wonder what she would have made of this Japanese garden at the back of the castle!
(Hope we get a day on the fells tomorrow.)
