Saturday 11 December 2010: Morning energy

288/365: Radcliffe-on-Soar Power Station, Nottinghamshire, December 2010

I took two lots of shots on the run today and that was it. The first few were of Radcliffe-on-Soar Power Station just as the sun was coming up. The second set were of Radcliffe-on-Soar Power Station just as the sun was setting. So... my choice of blip photo is kinda limited, as you can tell. This version of my... and let's call it a series because it makes it sound better than me letting you know that I snapped only a couple of shots as the traffic slowed to a stop going and coming back... Radcliffe on Soar series was taken en route to an all day meeting in Milton Keynes. Which has given me a cracker of a migraine. The meeting itself was the marking co-ordination for the digital photography course I work on which basically involves sitting in a room with a load of other markers (including one blipper), arguing the minor points over 50 images.

My head hurts!

The journey home was fairly uneventful. I nearly ran out of petrol on the M1. I had to drive with one eye closed for part of the way as my migraine struck properly. But the day is done and all will be quiet for at least a day until the avalanche of marking hits in a couple of days' time.

Which means that tomorrow is a proper day off. YAY!!!! Think we might try to get out for a walk because I haven't had chance to spend any decent time with the monkeys this last week and I want to.

Am going to be watching a sizeable quantity of rubbish on the TV tonight. This week has been too big for my little head and I need some trash to soothe my noodle.

PS Doesn't this shot look weirdly Autumnal!
PPS I am quite stupidly excited about being able to be outside during daylight hours tomorrow! I may have to go to bed early just to make tomorrow comes sooner.
PPPS Yes, I realise that sounds entirely crackers. :o)
