Back in the box

But not because I was out of ideas. My friend and fellow student T suggested a type box image might be suitable for the AOP competition. I've been trying to work out what to enter with, and she suggested one of these images might have the suitable level of narrative and space for the viewer to think their way into the image. Perhaps she's right.
This set of six includes a carved wooden wren I got one Christmas from M's mother, top left. Next along, a coin from L's collection of souvenirs - it seems to have a whistle on it, and commemorates a "World Memorial Day". Not quite sure what it's all about. Top right a champagne cork from our wedding. Bottom right a rough piece of amethyst. In the middle of the bottom row, a heart-shaped bookmark that belongs to L and finally, bottom left, a Russian badge I can only assume that M brought back from St Petersburg.
But maybe the real stories are less important than the stories someone looking at the picture might make up for themselves?
