Keeling Over

A less than impressive set of press clippings from the last 40 years in the Edinburgh Room. Of course, boaty clubs only get in the news when there's a stooshie, rightly enough; plenty scope for sub-editors on the Evening News to have a bit of harmless fun. Forty years of politicians 'sailing' to the rescue, of 'storms' of protest and committees resigning in 'squalls'. Of earlier history - nothing at all.
Out after that to see maw - her first cataract has been treated. It was only when I put on teletext that she realised the improvement. It was the footy scores, of course. Hearts 'on course' for Europe then. Ahem.
