Friday 17 December 2010: Waxwings
I took a lot of photos of waxwings today! In fact I filled an 8 gb card, 200 + descended locally and stripped the trees of berries. I used this shot because of the various actions going on, perching, flying, eating etc. My actual fave shot is on Flickr with the waxing posing for me. I also managed to grab a quick shot of a water rail.
I'm hoping that the snow holds off a bit longer so I can take H1 down to see these in the morning.
