Cheggie Season...

I've got a radical idea although I'm not sure the target demographic really has the patience to pull it off.

I think the cheggie playing season should be moved a few months back into winter. This obviously would require cheggies to be stored for these few months from harvest, playing the games more in winter than autumn.

The reason? Well, we are moving departments this weekend, so there was a load of desk and drawer emptying being done. During this tidy out a few of us came across the cheggies that we were going to play during the harvest but for one reason or another, never got round to it. With them being stored for so long they'd dried out a fair bit and became more hard and brittle. We had a rare old giggle playing and with them in this condition, the winning shots were characterized by some rather satisfying obliterations which gave the whole game a bit of pizzaz.

Notes on New Experiences of the Day...
Bethany and her mum have gone out christmas shopping just now so this has given me the rare opportunity of being able to watch StarWars with Ewan. This isn't some sort of sexist thing, it's just that when I first tried to show them both StarWars, Ewan was quite into it but Bethany was kinda scared of it for some reason. It's great, just sitting here in the dark, explaining the characters and story to someone that has never seen the film before.
