Saturday 18 December 2010: 200 today!! YAY
couldn't think what to do for my 200th, then my husband took a load or scrap metal to be recycled and they gave him 2 $100 notes - perfect!
The man on the note is Lord Rutherford, a New Zealander famous for being the person who first split the atom.
The bird is a mohua or yellow head, very endangered.
Our notes are quite colourful and all tell something about our history and or wildllife.
