Ornaments
The last couple of years I've decided to skip the tree and hang our family ornaments from a chain swagged against our front windows. We have four large windows facing the lake and four large cat ornaments, so one goes in the middle of each window. They are flanked on either side by blown egg ornaments made by my brother Steve and me when I was around 14 and he was 7. Today we have trouble remembering who did which. But they are a joy to hang and remind us of days when we were young and loved to do art together. Today my brother is a professional artist. He does aquatint etchings. Check out his website.
