Lazy Day

Didn't cross the threshold today, watched the snow and watched the birds accumulating a "day list" of fourteen birds including this Lesser Redpoll, the first we've seen this year. Our newly installed peanut and sunflower seed feeders were very busy, attracting Chaffinch, Blue Tit, Coal Tit & Great Tit, plus a Robin on the balcony hoovering up what the others had dropped. Unfortunately the nyjer seed feeder is still awaiting its first client, although it has proved to be a good perch for those awaiting their turn on the other feeders.
