No 1 Present

What do you think a 5 year old would want Santa to bring him - bike, train set, lego? No Cameron has asked Santa for a magnifying glass! He got a lovely personal video message from Santa courtesy of PSP with Santa saying that he would be getting one. So as the Royal Mail/delivery company has not yet managed to deliverit to Scotland, well we are so much cut off from the rest of the world(!!!!) it was up to Lidl to deliver the goods. I happened to see in the magazine that Monday Madness would be selling a super dooper all singing and dancing magnifying glass (with two light settings) today. This is it, showing papa's small beady eyes as massive pools of delight(??). Thanks Lidl. (£4.99 BTW).

It was my daughter's birthday today and she is heading towards 30. They were all round for a birthday tea of comfort food - sausage casserole followed by chocolate cake. Cameron told us that his teacher read out a letter from Santa to the class today. Santa had wrote to say that one of the naughty elves has run away with one of the magic sacks so some presents may not reach the children, so not to be disappointed if they don't get what was on their wish list (how clever of her).

She is also keeping a Bad Santa list and if anyone is naughty then their name gets put on this, but they can work to get it taken off. School breaks up on Wednesday so the 1 name that is on it has 2 days left. (It's not Cameron).

I would loved to have been there to see there little faces when she read out the elf story.

Happy Birthday Lola.
