Tuesday 21 December 2010: CLUMSY

Although graceful - the Black-backed Gull ( one of my favourites ) is a bit of a Lumbering bird and I think this is shown in this close-up of one in flight.
I had in my mind to get a headshot today ( trying to be arty-farty) and I did score a couple that made the final 5 but this one made the final cut as it is a bit of a head shot and also has some in-flight action.
