Tuesday 21 December 2010: Winter Solstice Dawn
We went out to watch the Lunar eclipse and it was fantastic. We then witnessed sunrise on a frozen beach and that was fantastic too. It was minus 11 and I am just defrosting. The sea appeared to be steaming - apparently the sea temperature is much higher than the air temperature just now - but I didn't venture in to test the theory.
