El Cristo Redentor
I've been lucky enough to be atop Corcovado above Rio de Janeiro many times over the last ten years and it never fails to lift my spirits, whether it be a night-time, mist-shrouded or sun-glinting visit. And you never forget the people you were there with, so here we were today a few days short of Christmas with special memories of previous times with Mum, Dot and Colleen.
This shot is absolutely straight out the can, polarising filter fitted when taken.
