Thursday 23 December 2010: Pop
Popped over to see the first batch of inbound relatives, then popped back through town and popped into a few shops with Bella. All very quick, painless and efficient, as is my way.
Most of the rest of the afternoon spent getting the house ship-shape, so we can become guilt-free slobs from tomorrow forth.
Layla got very annoyed with me at one point (probably because my tidying is, like my Christmas shopping, quick, painless and efficient) and shouted 'tidying to you just means moving things from one place to another'.
She declined to describe a method of tidying up which doesn't mainly involve moving things from one place to another, but it sounds like a considerably more efficient approach to me and I'll be pressing her on that over a mince pie later.
