Georgia Pacific

This is the site of the Georgia Pacific Mill that closed about five years ago. The Port of Bellingham bought the property. Around 2005 the City gave tours of the site while the Port was tearing down many of the structures. This is what remains. It stands waiting while the Port and the City collaborate on plans for the site. Eventually it will be a water front area of the city.

This a good one to view large.
