Christmas Fun

At the moment, 8pm Christmas night - my feet don't feel as if they are attached, and waves of tiredness have taken over my body......but all in a great cause.  What a fun day we have had, dinner started about 12.30pm, finally finishing with coffee and chocolates at 5.30 - a marathon indeed.  Some fun interludes between courses as my blip shows.

Sheryl always makes the most amazing crackers and fills them with something to help us return to our childhood..not hard!!!.  This year, whistles and polystrene planes that we had to make.  After the main course outside for some flying competitions, they went all over the show, up trees, in the garden as one of the picies shows scouting about looking for them. Aileen & Sheryl were two of my bridesmaids & Blair one of our groomsmen, we go back a long way, special friends of the highest calibre.

So, a mighty fine day has been had, look forward to a restful day tomorrow and eating the leftovers.

Phone calls to our children this morning & some chats to the grandies, made feel sad not to be with them, but I got over that soon enough.  They live in Wellington, Wanaka & Townsville (Australia)

Happy Christmas one & all
