Saturday 25 December 2010: Champagne on Christmas Day
From a little jar: Wild Hibiscus, flowers in syrup, tiny sugared Hibiscus flowers were put into the champagne glasses before the champagne was poured ...mmm. very good!
This is a product of NZ, and with every sip my thoughts wandered off to our NZ friends, Hpx, Barking and Take the Leap, amongst a few.
I hope that everybody had a very blessed Christmas.
And yes, the little flowers were edible.
