Water droplet

Got out my new camera and dragged Melly up to the reservoir to get pictures. It was a real buzz playing about fairly cluelessly but getting astonishing results. This is going to be great.

She'd just had her hair done so the portraits I took in the mist didn't cut the mustard - she needed to restyle her hair herself and the opportunity was gone. She's off to Germany for new year so I'll need to wait to try again. I have nice shots of the reservoir still frozen over but I liked this drip best.

It's a lazy blip of a branch on a tree in the garden and you'll just need to take my word that I tried harder than that!
