Breakfast with Bogie

My friend and former co-worker "Bogie" came back to Aurora to visit her parents and family for the holidays. She squeezed in some time for breakfast with me. It was really nice to see her again. I'm glad she's well and doing well in her Master's studies at the University of Ottawa. The Bacon Bits CD is a gag gift because I like bacon - a lot. No idea what's on the CD.

This was the first visit to The Sunset Grill - a breakfast restaurant franchise (wouldn't it be better called Sunrise Grill?). Anyway, breakfast was good. FIVE strips of fairly thick bacon (only four lasted long enough to be photographed). Usually, breakfast joints give you three strips of vapour thin bacon. Other breakfast franchises: Cora's and Daybreak. Both are good. Lot's of these kinds of all-day breakfast places now. Curious.

Yesterday's blip: The days are getting longer again
