Friday 31 December 2010: Still clipping
This is my view from the ladder I've been on for the last hour.
There is so much to do in the garden after weeks of rain, and precious little time now that it's so hot, so I make the most of dusk when it's cooler and the snakes have retreated.
There was one at the base of this hedge yesterday and I saw a couple when I went for a walk earlier today. They like nothing more than to bask in the middle of the road.
