Saturday 1 January 2011: Reflections and distortions ..
..or is it the hangover headache making me see such things? The pond is still frozen apart from one corner which has been cleared to allow the ducks to feed. Plus 5 degrees but it seemed colder and I have developed an irritating cough now. More alcohol may cure that - worth a try anyway.
A great start to the year - the soon to be best man to Son#1 spent New Year's Eve in the delivery Suite with his wife and M produced a beautiful baby girl early this morning. I also shed a little tear of happiness when soon to be daughter in law texted to say she couldn't wait to be Mrs Gordon in 2011. I may dissolve in the meantime as I keep welling up. Soppy or what?
