Saturday 1 January 2011: Grey day
Having woken with clear heads we ventured off to the Sussex countryside for a bracing walk. It was uninspiring - no bright, crisp day to herald the new year but grey, cold and damp. We made it as far as the pub, succumbing to the comfort of the roaring fire, homemade pies and a pint.
