Motunau Beach

Went for an afternoon drive to Motunau Beach where there was a very strong Nor' West wind blowing off the land. The sea was at high tide, and we found this massive old tree trunk and branches washed up on the rocks. Possibly been there for some time, but I guess it has come down some river and then large seas have washed it up.
Just indicates how strong the sea can be.
