Sunday 2 January 2011: Brambling - Really!
Okay! Following yesterdays cock up with the whole male chaffinch/ brambling thing, I had to blip the correct bird this time!
Even better - I managed to get two birds with one shot!
We have half a dozen brambling visiting the garden now. I had only seen one about 4 weeks ago, and then nothing for a month. Not the most common of garden birds normally. The Goldcrest was out there when I took this shot, but the light is too poor for such a small, skittish bird.
