The illusion of movement

Vertigo means "where there is a feeling of motion when one is stationary".

Edinburgh Rugby appeared to be advancing tonight against Glasgow Warriors at Murrayfield with a pleasing 28-17 victory.

However they failed to make up the 12 point deficit they needed to take the 1872 Cup from Glasgow who won 47-48 on aggregate, so only presented the illusion of progression.

Made me feel dizzy, I can tell you ;-)

This will be my entry for the Weekend Blip-Challenge Entry on Vertigo...

(I'm trusting any entries mistakingly referencing a fear of heights - Acrophobia - will be disqualified)

:-p
