Monday 3 January 2011: In the Punt
What a scorcher today was - on our terrace it was 38 degrees - unbearable for me.
Sat with the air conditioner on for a time. No work accomplished outside
hpx and decided we would go out and try for some impressionist photography. The beach would have been a good place but there would be no shade to get under, so we chose the Botanical Gardens. There were many people about, and a lot of people on the River Avon.
The ones in the Punt were under their umbrellas.
