I have a lot of respect for the nurses of the NHS I dont' pay that much attention to the politics of it all and I know there are good sides to it and bad.

Bethany's grandpa joined a 16 week waiting list of for an operation. On the other hand, we phoned up NHS 24 on christmas day and she was admitted and being looked at within 2 hours by specialists.

We've had nothing but brilliant experiences with nursing staff in both the Victoria and Forth Park hospitals in Kirkcaldy. So friendly and so helpful.

This little widget is the eyes of a machine which simulateously measured Bethany's heart rate, blood oxygen levels and something else, right out of her big toe. For some reason the machine that this attaches to came in a big massive lug around bag or a hand held thing no bigger than a TV remote.
