Monday 3 January 2011: Last chance saloon

When I worked at The Times, a lot of my journalist friends gave up alcohol in January. It was always a good idea.

I'm in town today on Bank Holiday Monday to take advantage of no Congestion Charge, free parking and VAT at 17.5%.
