Tuesday 4 January 2011: Evening stroll
Determined to improve my chances of taking some bird shots I spent an hour down on the beach and was mesmerised by the variety of birds feeding at the low tide line. After trying to approach nearer, standing quietly and viewing them through my lens I felt that I entered their world for a brief moment. Just the sounds of their chattering to each other, the occasional squable and the ever changing light. A delightful way to pass the late afternoon.
