Wednesday 5 January 2011: Archway

Had a quick dash round the university today to find something suitable to Blip. It was raining and so I didn't really hang around. Some parts of the university have lots of lovely architectural twiddles and I really like the playing card pattern that this archway has. I did consider a few others but this was the only shot I took in the end, also it has the merit of being next to the clothworkers hall which, when its part of a university, I like the sound of :-)

Finding it hard to ease myself back into work and certainly the dark mornings do not help. Also childcare has been thrown into dissaray due to burst pipes at schools left right and centre. I shall be relying on some very kind friends over the next few days. I hope they can bear with us and that Bob is not too naughty! Of course nursery being a moneymaking establishment is never closed, come hell or high water so Ali is well catered for.

Thanks Mum for correcting my spelling, 'Twiddles' has been amended to have two d's in it!
