Wednesday 5 January 2011: The loneliness of a short distance luncher
Back on the road again today, back to work and back to lunching in a lay-by.
Worst bit was the stupid o'clock alarm (that I'd woken for through the night about four times to check was definitely set) and the lack of daylight. Trying to co-ordinate an appetite for lunch when I'd normally be breakfasting or brunching was a bit of a bugger too. Cup of tongue scalding nuclear vegetable soup from Greggs was as much as I could manage.
Off to watch the final part of The Bear Family and Me [uk only/BBC iplayer] now which has had us all enthralled the past two nights. Brilliant documentary and well worth catching up with if you missed it.
