Wednesday 5 January 2011: A plus side
After yesterday I was desperate to find a positive side today
Sure I still feel like death
and the day was long and draining
but I started finding the pluses early;
I ignored the alarm. I couldn't drag myself out of bed
not like me at all, but I'm not exactly feeling like me either.
That left me leaving late
specifically, on the edge of sunrise.
The brain was foggy, but this was good news indeed.
The days are getting longer
While winter hasn't done it's dash yet
this is the first sign that it has an end.
That's left me feeling considerably brighter indeed.
