Saturday 8 January 2011: A rainbow a day?
My eldest is girly. Ribbons, bows, pink, fairies, flowers and best of all .. Rainbows. She loves them. She has the double aspect room so she has a great view of the outside and will come running to show me a rainbow - which usually is on her side window.
That's where this little crystal / shaped glass comes in. I've just rearranged the babys bedroom (Baby? What am I on about, she's 11 months and walking around, she's a toddler!) I noticed that the sun lightens up the top of her mini wardrobe - it's where her cot used to be and that's why I moved it as I know the sun kept waking her from her naps. Anyway, so I put the little crystal on top of her wardrobe and her room has lit up with a million little rainbows. I cannot wait to show my eldest tomorrow. The sun doesn't shine into her bedroom in the afternoon as she is at the front of the house. I reckon she'll be putting in a request for a room swap pretty soon.
