Sunday 9 January 2011: Bed-Head

Well technically this is Claudia after an attack with a hair brush. I don't normally bother brushing her hair as, like mine, it's a bit uncomfortable combing through all those curls. But she grabbed the hairbrush from the bathroom today and attempted to tame her coif... With little success, admittedly, as the brush became entangled in her fringe.

Once I'd stopped laughing at a little girl with an enormous hairbrush stuck to her head I decided to brush her hair. That was clearly what she was after.

Anyway this is the result, what I like to call "The Mane". This is the reason I only brush my hair right before I wash it - apparently my daughter has inherited my unruly curls to a tee as she is every inch the lion I become in this situation, although far less frightening :)
