I've read about the phenomenon of yarn bombing, but this is only the second time I've seen one of these urban stealth pieces. I was blankly staring out the window of the local art museum and there it was--a happy little sweater of many colors that just fit the black iron pole by the front steps. What a delight to have this juxtaposed with the serious crowd inside! The hardest thing for me was to choose between a close-up of the texture and color, or go with a wider shot that shows more of the venue. It is well worth your while to follow this thread wherever it might take you...but only if you want to smile a lot and marvel at how people weave art into life.
