Monday 10 January 2011: "Hurry girls that's a big wave!"
This little flock of Redshanks (I think - please correct me if I am wrong) made me laugh at lunchtime. Each time a wave receded they would swarm out onto the exposed sand to find tasty morsels. Then when the next one came in they would all run back to safety!
It certainly brightened up my first day back at school. Glad to get Monday over and get back into the groove. I guess I am very lucky that I can pop down to a beach in the middle of the day!
