Mary Poppins Chimneys!

When my friend Sandra came over from America for her first trip to Scotland one of the first things that she commented on was our "Mary Poppins chimneys!" Now I had not really given much thought to the matter but it is amazing what a fresh eye sees that we take for granted. She also could not get over the number of sheep on green hillsides - they dont have many sheep in Oregon.

We do have some very fine chimney stacks on our old buildings so tonight's blip is some Thurso chimneys blipped in the fading light.
