Tuesday 11 January 2011: Below the Line
Another day at the old shipping offices, now a bit yellowed and fading. Tremendous news on Cameron and Osborne's final position on the Banking sector: "We've made a broad statement which is about the need to see some restraint and some responsibility from the banks". Absolutely! Time to move on. Bashing the Bankers is so last year.
As to the Hearts game which got my goat, they got back to me to offer a refund. Which, it turned out, I didn't need as I was back in time. Let's just say I wish I hadn't been.
