Monday 31 December 2007: Concorde
Went to the Museum of Flight at East Fortune today. Very interesting afternoon out! I wanted to get some good snaps of concorde, but the hangar she's in is literally only millimeters larger than the aircraft, so it's quite tricky to do anything interesting wide angle. My favourite shot in the end was this detail of a hydraulic hose on the nose landing gear. It sums up the way that the plane is built from many, many engineering details, each of which has its own beauty.
