Saturday 15 January 2011: Fire
Glorious and blisteringly hot day today in Christchurch and North Canterbury. headed to Lyttleton and then Sumner for market and beach respectively. Took a few shots of Lyttleton which were going to be the pick of the blips BUT then the evening brought this sky and I had to blip it. It was amazing. There is no touch up/strengthening of colour here , it is as it was taken. We were sat in the lounge and out of one window the sky was an amazing sepia colour with cabbage trees etc as a backdrop it looked pretty impressive. I then looked behind me and this sky was going on :-)
