Sunday 16 January 2011: 365th
365 blips in a row, without missing a day :-). It has been a fantastic year and we have had so much fun taking photos and enjoyed looking at everyone else's brilliant shots.
We found out about Blipfoto through the male half's "real life" friends Andreasone and Flashead. We were so fascinated by their excellent photos, that we decided to join as well, as we felt that blipping might be the new mutual hobby for us to do together as a couple. It was a good decision, because our outlook on the world, nature etc. totally changed as we began to see things through photos. Noticing all the beautiful little details around us and seeing them in a new way is what makes blipping so much fun and addictive! Our initial goal was to take 365 photos in a row every single day for a year and then let's see if we still have the energy to continue with it. Now that we have reached it, we are definitely not going to stop. Don't know if we'll be posting every day from now on, but we will certainly try :-).
Blipping as a couple has been great, but there have been times when we have spent some time "friendly arguing" about the choice of the photo for the day, or the post processing etc. The female half loves colors and wants bright photos, as the male half wants to tone it down a bit and that has been the main discussion subject at our home over blips. The male half is technically more talented in everything and does 90% of the processing. The female half is the visual person, who decides more often on what the subjects of our photos are. We think that there is no way that we'd blip separately, it is so much nicer to share the experience with someone who likes it just as much and we will continue that way.
Looking forward to everyone's great photos in 2011!
