Sunday 16 January 2011: Cracking up...
324/365: ... you know you've lost the plot when to brighten up your morning you draw faces on the eggs your daughter is about to eat for breakfast... then find it stupidly funny... then take a photo of them.
I fear the plot has become lost somewhere along the way...
I blame the kids. Personally speaking.
Maddy, when presented with her terrified breakfast, looked at me as if I had gone stark staring bonkers. And possibly rightly so. Especially when I cackled as I lopped the top of one of their heads off. :o))
Vegetarian does breakfast massacre. Nice.
Bit of a nothingy day today. The eggs were the only things I took a shot of and the rest of the time I've either been working, drinking tea, having a meal... in between more working. The children have been a mix of creative and grumpy. Currently, they've turned Maddy's room into a 'disco' with the aid of an old pair of flashing lights off a toy policecar and a slightly busted stereo which is tuned to some music which makes me want to turn into my parents and go 'can't you listen to *something* decent?????'. Still, they're only 4 and 7 so I have lots of time in which I can use that line, so I'm not going to rush it.
Nowt else to report. Well, there's a male tabby cat on the prowl for our Poppy and I worry that the children's assessment that 'he wants to be her friend' is missing the very 'specialness' of the friendship that cat wants to have with ours. Roll on Wednesday when Poppy is spayed! She won't appreciate it. But I will. :o)
Okay... back to work. Laters taters.
PS I have a nasty suspicion tomorrow is Monday
PPS ... and I've spent the whole weekend working. Pfff.
