Jumpin' Jupiter!

Not as clear as the moon shot also taken through my new telescope. Need to work on getting better with the old astrophotography, we've got Skye and the Western Isles booked up for the end of May/start of June and that should provide ample opportunity!

It's the type of thing to make you realise you're relative place in the enormity of the universe. Probably.

Through the 'scope eyepiece four of Jupiter's moons were pretty clear - not so with the T-Mount in its place. Ah well, somewhere where they can be seen brighter should bring that out as well!

Found out late last night that another pic of mine had found its way into the Evening News, sent to them before Christmas! Nice anyway - it's one of the Kingfisher shots that I blipped.

Anyway, today was spent with every single minute of daylight, devoted to chicken run building/improving/mending. The picture of that will wait until everything is done, which should be Tuesday. For the time being the old girls have a new, watertight, roof (after the old one was patched when it collapsed under the weight of snow). Between now and then I've got a meeting tomorrow to discuss the redundancy offer made on Friday. I've got a couple of (non-financial) changes to suggest, including working from home occasionally. Well, given about 4 or 5 people are going to be left in the office, and being home gives me more time to sort out some things, I don't think they'll disagree.
